Wardlaw X Persian Society: Nowruz – Persian New Year Celebrations

Join us and the Persian Society to celebrate Nowruz. Come and mark your hopes for the new year and shed the worries of the last. Experience all areas of this celebration with your friends. This event is supported by the Persian Society and the Kaleidoscope Alumni Network.
In conversation – Iran: Wonders of Nature
When: Sunday 24 March, 1pm-3.30pm

Interdisciplinary panel discussion with refreshments followed by Q&A. Bringing together experts from disciplines across the University, we’re asking the question — What next for Iran? This panel discussion will consider the current and future cultural landscape of Iran. The discussion will start at 2pm. This event is supported by the Kaleidoscope Alumni Network. The event is free but in-person spaces are limited. In-person attendees should book a slot at the tickets link provided. There is also a chance to attend the discussion remotely. Ali Ansari is a Professor in the School of History at the University of St Andrews. In Iran (Polity Histories) Ali takes readers on a journey through Iran’s turbulent history. Join us at the Wardlaw Museum to meet Ali and talk all things Iran. The event includes a book signing and complimentary wine.
